Our story
Simply Maid started in a Sydney apartment in 2015, after one too many "the cleaner cancelled again" texts and one too many awkward calls — strangers asking for postcodes, photos and a 3-hour quote window before they'd even commit to a price.
Huy was 23, more comfortable behind a keyboard than a clipboard, and convinced this should feel less like a chore and more like ordering from your favourite local cafe — quick, transparent, and the same friendly faces every time.
More than a decade and 15,000 homes later, we're still building the company we wanted to hire from: fair-paid local cleaners, KYC-verified identity, flat upfront pricing, and a re-clean guarantee that actually means something.
